Idaho Falls
Idaho Falls is the heart of eastern Idaho and truly a gateway city - highways lead from here into Montana, Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons. The Snake River winds its way through the middle of Idaho Falls and the Snake River Greenbelt provides convenient access to Historic Downtown Idaho Falls. In recent years, the Willard Arts Center and the grand, restored Colonial Theater have enlivened the historic downtown area. Idaho Falls offers a four-season climate with a variety of weather conditions. In the summer, residents and visitors enjoy warm temperatures and comfortable nights. The spring brings life to the fertile countryside, while the fall temperatures provide incredible bursts of color. Truly a winter wonderland awaits those seeking recreation in the snow or picturesque scenes of wintertime beauty. The city now extends far beyond the riverbanks; it is home for some 55,000 residents and is a cultural, recreational, commercial, and educational base for the area. Visit the Idaho Fall´s Chamber of Commerce at www.idahofallschamber.com for more information about the area.
