An Idaho native, Amy was born and raised in Southeast Boise. She is a proud alumna of Boise State University, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, and a Master of Arts in Reading and Literacy Education. A true Bronco at heart, Amy “bleeds blue” and carries her Boise pride into every aspect of her work and life.
Amy’s professional journey has been rich and varied. From working in new home sales during college to obtaining her real estate license in 2005 and assisting local builders such as O’Neill Properties and CBH Homes, Amy has always had a natural talent for connecting with clients and understanding their needs.
In 2009, Amy married her college sweetheart, Kyle Stringer, former Boise State football punter. Two years later, they embarked on a new chapter when Kyle joined the U.S. Navy as a helicopter pilot. Over the next decade, the Stringers lived in numerous cities across the country—from Florida and California to Arizona and Washington—buying and selling homes with each relocation. These frequent moves gave Amy firsthand experience with the emotional and logistical challenges of real estate transitions and instilled in her a deep empathy for her clients.
In 2022, Amy and Kyle returned to their roots in Boise with their four children—Ruby (11), Lewis (9), Everly (7), and Maisy (5)—and their beloved goldendoodle, Griffey (4). After being longtime clients of Ralston Group, Amy knew it was the right place to relaunch her real estate career. Drawn to the firm’s reputation for mentorship, integrity, and community values, she is proud to be part of a locally owned brokerage that prioritizes relationships over transactions.
Outside of real estate, Amy is a devoted mom and active member of the Boise community. She and her family enjoy skiing, boating, camping, hiking in the Foothills, biking on the Greenbelt, golfing, and cheering on the Broncos at sporting events. Amy is also involved in several women’s and family ministries, including Capital Moms, and regularly volunteers in her children’s classrooms and youth sports teams.
